Thank you for letting me join your group - the only time I've been to sea though is when I've crossed the English Channel to Jersey. I work as an admin for my husband - this enables me to look around the web in my spare time. My interest is in the SS Ullapool purely as my cousin's father Peter Scott Gray who was a fireman on board the day it was blown up was killed at the early age of 35. At the time my cousin was only 8 years old and I didn't exist so never got to know my uncle. However this has given me an interest as well as I'm currently researching my family tree.

Thanks to Roger Griffiths - the pic of his Tower Hill plaque will make my cousin's day when I see her on Wednesday. When she went down to see it herself it took her so long to find it she was worn out and they had forgotten their camera - the mobiles back then didn't have cameras on them. She will love this. :)
