I only had a few years in the British Merchant Navy 1964 through 1966. Sinned out 16th December 1966 at Princes Pier South Melbourne and have just celebrated 40 years as an Australian. Fond memories of al my ships. SS Vibex, SS Horomya, MV British Grenadier, MV Benlawers (the old one) and the Port Wellington. I'd love to hear from anyone who sailed on thes eships at anytime. Regards

Jim

Hi Jim!
Do you know about a site dedicated to Port Line ex-employees?

You will find it at http://finance.groups.yahoo.com/group/VintagePort/

This e-Group is a meeting point for all the members of "Vintage Port", who were at some time employed by The Port Line Limited, 88 Leadenhall Street, LONDON EC3

Access to this site is open to all past employees, no matter in what capacity or when they served.

Cheers!
