Hi to all of you.
Just joined so where do I come from - following national service in the RN I sailed with Blue Star and Royal Mail for several years before going ashore
in Buenos Aires working for Blue Star and their associates Lamport + Holt in
1965. Stayed thru 1978 till emigrated to USA and live in New York.

Worked with Nedlloyd, Hoegh Lines, Norton Lilly, Egon Oldendorff and lastly
John Swire's "Indotrans" - they bought the old Hoegh cargoliners from
Oldendorff. Retired from Swires in December 2004.

Heard of you good people thru 'Shipping Today & Yesterday' and glad I did.

Any old shipmates from "Uruguay Star" or "Amazon" & "Pampas" out there ?

Pleased to hear/Regards.
