sorry lads i know ill .make amess of this .about the 1940s was a.b on esso. tanker . beacon street .sat. sun. the mate would put in mess room how much overtime worked .then was 2 and 6 shillings a hour. to cut the story short i was 2 hrs, shortsaid to mate if you dont change it .i will walk down the gangway and notcome back .he saidyou darent.of course i did those days woulnt call king billy your unkle .happy days jim .
