Crossed the Bar - Captain Gerry Rolph.

With sadness to report that I have just been advised that Captain Gerry Rolph has recently crossed the bar.

Gerry lived at Mariners Park in Wallasey and was a regular and popular attendee of the Palm Line Reunions held in Wallasey.

Another crew member gone - RIP.

I see I coasted Enugu Palm with Captain Rolph on the Continent over Christmas 73. A gentleman. May he rest in peace.
