Hello

I am searching for a story I read many years ago. A woman fell overboard from a Union Castle mail ship. She kept afloat for (24?) hours and was saved when the ship retraced the route. I got cross eyed using Google. Probably because I went off on tangents too often. The article I read was accompanied with a photo of her swimming in what appeared to be a nightdress. I did three trips, once on the Athlone Castle, Capetown Castle and Durban Castle in the late 1950's so the story stuck minus the details.
I will probably sleep better if I got help!
Help.
