I found this site while looking for info on the MSC Napoli. Spent 16 years at sea many moons ago after attending a (then) well known training establishment. I'm not sure if having been at sea is a blessing or a curse. One thing for sure though - it never leaves you.

Hi Jazz

No, it was not a curse! My six and a half years included at least a couple of good day, no I tell a lie, at least three and it has made me appreciate the rest of my life.

Welcome to SN its a good port with plenty of good chat, info and pics

Regards

One thing is for sure..it is not worth going to sea anymore unles you are with a well found and respectable Company.
Long hours, short time in port, undermanned resulting in no socializing when off duty, etc etc.
