Found the site when MSC Napoli nudged into East Devon at the mouth of my river.

35 years a mariner but now washed ashore time expired. Last job ashore in Cairo managing Suez Canal Traffic 1992-95. Glad to sniff the sea again on this site.

Welcome aboard - take nice deep gulps - the sea air is just what's needed.

By the way, what's the name of your river??

Regards,

Steve.

The Umborne, and I'm about five miles up it. Waders only at this point but it flows into the Axe and then into Lyme Bay
