Hi all,
this project is currently under construction. The original was built in 1949 by J. Smit in Kinderdijk/ Netherlands. The scale is 1/38, dimensions are L*B= 134*24.5cm. The scratch built vessel is powered by an 12V Bühler engine and has a deadweight of ca. 14.5Kg. A lot of functions are included like steam-generator, mooring winch, anchor winch, special light effechts, etc.. The model should be finished in April 2019.

Very nice looking model of a classic Smit tug. Link Frank, I'm also looking forward to seeing how she looks on the water.

If you'd modelled her as she was later in life as Sea Rover, you'd have had to include bullet and shell holes!
