I would think not ,what to do with them is the question.go to sea to do what. Float around with minimal air capabilities.white elephants .

Yes they do get a lot of sea time Nick. E.g. CANBERRA is currently deployed on an Indo/Pacific exercise with a Task Group and will be ‘away’ for several months. They undertake RIMPAC exercises every 2 years and have gainfully been employed in disaster relief several times since commissioning.

Yes rimpac exercise,disaster relief.but not the capability of an American similar ship with their various air wings .I comparing these to visits to USS Essex and another of that class.
