I believe this is, or rather what remains of, the ex-Scarborough excursion vessel "Coronia' (2).

She is supposedly under restoration, although the funnel, which I suspect is most probably a dummy, is much smaller than the original. The wheelhouse too looks false, as though it is built from basic modern materials. However, many other things fit, particularly on the hull and lower deck as well as her foremast.

I understand that the original restoration was not fully completed due lack of funds and she is a coffee bar now.

She is a Dunkirk veteran and rescued some 900 troops from the beaches.

Although she later adopted the name, she is not to be confused with an earlier and larger 'Coronia', built 1931, which ran out of Scarborough in the 50's and early 60's, before going to Bournemouth.

At that time, there were 3 excursion vessels out of Scarborough, 'Coronia', 'Regal Lady' and this one was 'Yorkshire Lady', built 1935 as 'Brit' at Great Yarmouth.

See her here as Coronia (2) https://www.shipsnostalgia.com/galle...oronia/cat/502,

and in her original guise as 'Brit', before being fully decked over:

Thanks Ozzie for the information, this certainly seems to confirm her identity. Derek

Thanks Derek.

For comparison purposes here is the larger and earlier 'Coronia (1)', which I am sure many visitors to Scarborough in the 50's and 60's will recognize:

Ian Boyle has compiled a history of "Coronia" (2) ex Brit/Yorkshire Lady/etc (though obviously not quite up to date).

Alas, it looks as though 2019 may be the final season for Scarborough's last traditional excursion boat "Regal Lady" (also a Dunkirk veteran).
