That is either Lannec or Lavoisier of Chargeurs Reunis, the name looks to be short, so Lannec.

Laennec was the third of a series of four vessels of the Lavoisier-Class built at A. et Ch. de la Loire, St. Nazaire between 1948 and 1952. Laennec was christened 25. Feb 1951 and started maiden voy on 16 Jan 1952 Le Havre-Buenos Aires, thereafter in regular Hamburg-La Plata service. Together with her sister vessel Charles Tellier (maiden voy 2 Aug 1952) both were the last ships of Cie. Sudatlantique, Bordeaux (same funnel colors as famous Pasteur). In Sept resp. Nov 1962 both were handed over to Messageries Maritimes, same service.
L. was sold 1966 and rebuilt for Indonesia-Jeddah service (renamed Belle Abeto). Burnt and sank in Indonesia July 1976.(C. Tellier also sold 1967 as Le Havre Abeto for pilgrim service and was broken up in Chittagong 1984.)
Particulars as Laennec: 12.007 BRT, 163,9 x 19,6m, Sulzer diesel eng., 2 screws 12.000 hp, 17kn, max 19 kn, 110 pass 1st, 326 pass third class.
Lavoisier started maiden voy in Sept 1950. Sold 1961 to Italy for cruising as Riviera Prima, 194 sold again to Sigval Bergesen, Oslo as Viking Princess. 8 April 1966 caught fire in the engine room during cruise in the Caribbean,pass. and crew rescued, vessel scrapped later in Bilbao.
Last ship in this series Claude Bernard was also empoyed in Hamburg-Buenos Aires service. Sold 1962 to VEB Deutsche Seerederei Rostock as a training ship.Scrapped at Gadani beach Pakistan 1981.
