How can it be that such a beautiful ship rots here. Would not it be better to push it into a blast furnace than to end up looking so miserable?

Jan, last year there was a TV program about the ship, and believe it or not on the inside she did not look that bad.......

Beached near Llanerch-y-mor on the Dee estuary, apparently plans to have her "transformed" into a "zombie attraction" have been put on hold.
Such a sad future for a lovely ship as this.

A sad sight indeed! I was a steward on her two sisters in 1958. I sailed on on her as a passenger a few times too. They were lovely ferries for their time.
