Auk class minesweeper?... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Auk-class_minesweeper
Film was filmed 'on location in Spain'... in the film was it stock footage or filmed in making of the film?

Could it be a Spanish ' Almanzora ' class minesweeper ' EO ' (M17) ?

Built in Cadiz 1955 ( modernised in the 60's) with a total of 7 ' similar type ' namely ' Eume ' ' Almanzora ' ' Navia ' and ' EO ' ......
