Corinthic looking great in the Channel, sailing from London to Liverpool on 16th June 1965. Note 2 boats were taken off in London at the end of her final passenger voyage. Much of the passenger accommodation was then removed by Wilton-Fijenoord Schiedam.

Why bother dismantling the passenger accommodation. Lock it up and keep unless the spaces are required. Great for parties and the girls could make 'coastal marriages'. The purser and steward would have made a fortune!

Yes, the company did not repeat the Corinthic/Athenic mistake with Gothic/Ceramic.
But that option led to a tragic end in Gothic.
