This yacht was owned by British businessman Robert Maxwell. It was named for his daughter. It was from this yacht that Maxwell fell to his death whilst off the Canary Islands. I had seen the yacht sail from Palma, Majorca on 28th October 1991 and Maxwell was on board. It is likely this picture was taken only a day or so after he'd fallen off the yacht.

In fact, the pic was taken one day after Mr. Maxwell had fallen off the yacht at sea between Las Palmas and Tenerife (54 sea miles from port to port).

"Quote ....This yacht was owned by British businessman Robert Maxwell....."

Was he really a businessman or simply a clever crook?.............

Did he fall, or was he pushed? We may never care!

I suspect he stepped off the stern. His game was up over the Daily Mirror pension fund etc..

The lady for whom she was named is very much in the news at the moment.
