This old Lady still exists in Portland Harbour as a Training Platform for the Royal Marines.

There seems to be many changes and additions compared to the initial ship Sir Lancelot, no doubt lessons learnt and developed.

True, but how many times where these ships called to under operational take beach landings? only a handful I'm sure. I think the Bay are probably far superior in almost all respects.

I would agree with that. They are really two different kinds of vessel, apples and oranges that fail many comparisons.
