In the background the cargo ship ORINOCO and I think she was owned by Johnson Line, built 1944 by Kockums Mekaniska Verkstad, Malmö. 1964 sold to Guan Guan Shipping renamed Golden Spring, 6th November 1971 wrecked. GRT 7359.

In the foreground the Dutch coaster FRANCINA.

1973-05-04: Final Fate:
On voyage from Bayonne to Aberdeen with a cargo of corn she was grounded on the Salt Scar Rocks near Redcar (east coast of England), capsized and on 15th May sunk in position 54.37.32.N - 01.03.W.
The wreck was scrapped in the course of 1973 by Lyncraft Trading Co. at Redcar.
