Two, 6-cyl. 4 S.C.S.A. (12" x 14") Ruston 6ATCM type by English Electrics Diesels Ltd., (Ruston Engine Division), Lincoln, double reduction geared to a single controllable pitch propeller operating within a Kort steerable nozzle. 3,380 bhp. 50 tons bollard pull. 14 kts.
21.5.1969: Keel laid as OAKGARTH by Appledore Shipbuilders Ltd., Appledore (Yard No. A. S. 68) for Rea Towing Co. Ltd., Liverpool.
25.9.1969: Launched as HOLLYGARTH.
18.12.1969: Registered at Liverpool.
22.12.1969: Completed.
1985: Transferred to Cory Ship Towage Ltd., London.
1985: Owners restyled as Cory Towage Ltd.
1986: Transferred to Rea Towing Co. Ltd., (Cory Towage Ltd., managers), Liverpool.
