I Think this was taken in the Manchester Ship canal but I cant be certain. It was one of a packet of photo's given to me by a friend, since deceased, so I cant be absolutely sure.

This is an East German "Neptun" standard type. Many were built in the 1970s and early 80s. Judging by the "phi" character on the stem, she is probably a Greek owned example.

If its the old Bowaters Paper berth, could it be the Fafalios vessel MOUTSAINA
which was a regular with kraft paper rolls etc. about these years.
Fafalios vessels always clean and well maintained
