In Suez I rember being offered real leather cardboard vallets, ugly brass camels, antique porn and well dilluted hashish, in Aden though they had first class shirts, cameras, binoculars, music boxes etc, at extremely low prices. So what's the goods being offered here? I'd go for Aden, but others might have had different experiences to judge from. Regards, Stein.

I still smile when I see shots like this. At Suez 64,on the way out to the gulf on Ashanti, myself and a mate, John McA..,were stood at the rail looking down at the dung offered by these traders, when one of them shouted up "Any Scotsmen up there?" John, thinking he might be on to a better deal than anyone else, shouted back down, "Yes, here", the arab looked back up, stuck two fingers in the air and shouted out "Well f*** off McTavish." A real show stopper.
