As Nordic Louisiana, she was a molten sulphur tanker that was temporarily allowed to operate in the Jones Act trade with a US crew under Vanuatu flag in the mid to late 1990's. She was in not so good a shape then.

Very interesting. Do you know if she was used on the Beaumont/ Port Sulphur to New York run?
I believe that is where the original sulphur tankers were intended for.
