Question: Why do they all have to be the same colour?

Anyone who has followed the forum chat in SN should surely be aware that there is no funnel like a Blue Funnel, the sun never sets on a Blue Funnel.

Given that Clytemnestra's first husband was Tantalus we can see that like does not always attract like… but then he was killed off by Agamemnon, who then made Clytemnestra his wife..
Rough folk this Blueies…
Mind you, young Clytemnestra was not exactly pure as the driven snow herself, as while Agamemnon was off fighting the odd war, she seems to have shacked up with Aegisthus, her husband's cousin, and together they plotted the murder of Agamemnon. But such is life in Blue Flue that, as it were, Agamemnon exposed himself to mortal danger by bringing back a concubine from Troy and thereby making Clytemnestra a tad jealous.. Seemingly, in revenge, on his arrival home Clytemnestra seduced him into a vulnerable position, then entangling him in cloth and finally murdered him..
All of which is a lesson for Blue Flue fellows… be very careful what you get up to and be even more careful when you get home, IF you have given cause for distrust..

Presumably she will serve on the Blue Flue Far East route as those funnels will be too tall for her to enter New York.

Can I book a cruise already now? Actually the old Bore steamers between Finland and Sweden sometimes had the Owner Suite cabin in the first funnel of the classic double steamers on Bore's liners. The last I remember was the S/S BORE III from 1952 but the funnel was later taken away at a reconstruction in 1972 to cruise ship. She ended her days as burnt-out wreck in Canada in 1976. Maybe the new design wave of building ships will be luxury suites in some dummy funnel - who knows. With all the new constructed large and from a maritime point of view totally uninteresting balcony- gym-fitness and casino cruise ships for the Caribbean, this may be another theme for the big crowd?!?
