Some Russian Oilyarch.
A Ģ200 million super-yacht has set sail on its maiden voyage to Norway, where its Russian billionaire owner stopped off to collect three Claude Monet paintings.
The futuristic vessel, which has enough room to sleep 56, is even bigger and more expensive than the pride of Roman Abramovich's fleet, Pelorus, which cost only Ģ100 million.
It was built for a fellow Russian oligarch, Andrey Melnichenko, 37, who is worth Ģ4.6 billion and was ranked 172 on the Forbes list of the world's richest people.
The yacht, named "A" after his catwalk model wife Aleksandra Nikolic.

I donīt think we shall talk about politics and money in this forum.
And the brittish and the greece, have a lot to think about so fare. As fare as I remember, the greece shipsowners in the 50-60īs, had some of the biggest yachts ever built. Now there are some others. Let them play.

Quite right. Greek shipowners had some large and impressive yachts. Many of those guys started with nothing and worked very hard to get where they did. You can only admire them. Not so sure about the Russian Oligarchies, but the yachts are amazing nonetheless.

The most difficult discussions often take place over the definition of 'style' and the personal interpretation thereof.
Is it ugly ? Without doubt.
Is it stylish ? How can we say 'No' in the 21st Century? Yes, for sure. If not, how come stealth warships & aircraft look so modern and 'right' then?
Is it innovative? yes.
Would you refuse a cruise aboard ? I thought not ... and finally ..... could you afford to keep a supermodel wife happy?
BTW - nice shot George. Thanks and regards, Rick

At least it appears to flying a Red Duster which makes it stand out from some "British" cruise ships.

Are you sure that the hull is not upside-down? With these computer-aided designs it is easy to flip a drawing when pasting on the superstructure drawing,

She is built by HDW Kiel.

Difficult choice, Super Model Wife or Innovative (Stealthy) Yacht. Both expensive. Difficult choice. (I was joking) only thing missing is the Surface to Air Missile system.

I just can't envisage this craft diving into a big sea, and some mighty carpet of water rolling along the deck to meet all that glass-ware....might look different from other views, but this view is somewhat scary.
