Owned by Sealion shipping who became TNT then Toisa . They also had the Devon Curlew and Karick Kestrel ( Spelling Karick ?? )

Which Old timer is that directly astern of the mainmast ? & I bet the crew of this little tanker did not find the ships name funny in winter down there !

Ship in the background is Lady Elizabeth. an iron hulled barque wrecked on Uranie Rock just outside Stanley Harbour in 1913. She was sold to the FIC who had her moored on East Jetty until Feb 1936 when she broke adrift in a storm and drifted to her present position in Whalebone Cove

thanks indeed for that info. I am always amazed at how some ships last , in this case she had endured 51 years AFTER stranding & still looks whole.
