This work is quite simply 'over the top'. I just can't imagine being able to create such realism in minature. I'm almost afraid to ask .... but how many man hours does it take to complete one of these masterpieces and surely you must enlist some assistance in their production? These works of art are priceless for the story they tell.

Thanks for the kind comments. Actually Don it is ' over the top' it's in my partner Joan's (who you can see in one picture) loft, parcelled up in boxes. It's not been put together for a number of years now, so I'm afraid that is your answer too Iain. Perhaps one day it will come down to ground level again!

Absolutely superb.
T241 was the RN's Round Table Class trawler "Sir Kay" - was there any particular reason you chose this ship?
Was it Humbrol paints that had the advert "Skill, Patience and Humbrol" - looking at the wonderful craftsmanship that goes into these dioramas I think we should change that to "Skill, Patience and Beaches"!
Well done Sir

Incredible, a true masterpiece. Way above the quality of most museum dioramas. Stein.
