Derek, I have exercised the brain cell and have come up with a rather sparse crew list as I can remember it. A load of us flew out from Gatwick to Philadelphia and then took a train up to New York in September 1969. I left with a few others in Philly again in late February 1970.

Capt. John Watson-Ross, C/O Terry Scarratt, 2/O Roger Newton, 3/O Can see face but can't remember name. CR/O me, 2R/O Graham King. C/E Alan Atack, although not full trip from memory, 2/E can't remember name but was from Northern Ireland, again not full trip, 3/E and others I regret have disappeared into the mists. Elect. was an American when I joined, Don Macleod joined us in Yokohama for most of the voyage and Paul Georgeson joined towards the end. PC/S Charlie Clarke. We had a couple of cadets but have no hope of remembering their names. Oddly enough I remember the Chippy was Chinese because I had never sailed with one before.
Don Macleod might help with a few other names as he has very good recall.
