This boat was sold out of service in 1977, She was bought by the Lismore Fishery Board for 8000 Irl. for Sea Fishery protection from Ballycotton Island to Mine Head. She was sailed from Peter Dickie's yard in Bangor in Nth. Wales to Youghal where she was berthed. The crew were James Villiers Stuart, Petie Whelan, Dan Connell and myself, the crew with the obvious exception of myself have gone to their Maker. They had a great love of the sea, James had a yacht the "Vinter" and sailed for years, Petie was a deepwater AB, and Dan was ex R.N. engine room Artificer. I was the amateur of the group. It was a fantastic adventure the memories of which have staye with me all my life.

Beautiful model Neil, I don't know how you find the patience, but it's a good job you do.You really must apply yourself to the Clyde class!
