Pretty sure we did a daytrip from St Helier to St Malo on "Condor 10" about 5 years ago - a fairly bouncy run and had to lie to the Manager to get her onboard for the return trip! Regardless of that, the Condors were a Tasmanian success story.

Visited Weymouth last year and found it a bit shabby after a 45+ year absence. Portland, however, was a pleasant surprise. Maybe because the sun was out.
