shipnerd - Thad passed away last year - rip - he had an amazing collection - i believe they were auctioned off - those that know peter newall - he also passed on - again an incredible collection of shipping images and yes the model is either williem gustloff or the robert ley

Indeed, Thad passed away in late September of 2018, just two weeks before several of us were planning a Columbus Day weekend at his beach house in Rhode Island. His family and ship friends in Boston made arrangements for the disposal and sale of the model collection.
