Another one for the scrap man,the RN cannot have many ships left in service, lets hope a buyer comes up and saves her from the blow torches.

I'd rather the government woke up, and realised the enormity of the blunder they are making, and rescind the instructions. Buy back some of the ships they have sold, and look to save money elsewhere. Overseas aid to India springs to mind, for a start. RN can barely afford one carrier, the Indians are building 4. Who should be giving who the aid?

we will have 13 type 23 frigates and six ( when they are all operational ) type 45s three amphibious ships and one hms illlustrious at the end of this year a despairing state of of affairs by anyones standard the governement will only wake up when we get our backsides whooped....... the argentinians in the meantime are building their forces up watch this space

My last ship before leaving the RN a very sad day and the only ship that i served on still in commision i must be getting old
