The USS Winston S Churchill at Portsmouth in May 2003. She was in C or D lock, we were told she was in for repairs to a damaged propeller. I think she was part of the USS Harry S Truman's Battle group as the carrier was anchored off Stokes bay at the same time.

That seems ludicrous James C. Why not just call her something 'USAey' and not have a RN officer? He/she must feel very uncomfortable being surrounded by US Navy officers.
