I'm sure she and her sisters were green until about 1994. I spent over 4 months on her in '94 including the famous spell in drydock in Malta. In fact I'm sure that's when we changed her colour to blue. We had so many problems with the auxy generators and elec gear that trip that we were close to being told to take her to 'the beach'. The elec supt came out from London when we were in Aus/NZ (Ken Blackett - or 'Blackout' as we used to call him that trip!) and was drawing large circles on the bulkheads with a permanent marker. His plan was to stick some rental generator sets on deck and run the cables down below so we could get to the scrap yard. Fortunately we sorted the problems and she appears to have made it until 1998. What a trip. What a ship!
