British Seafarer probably at Grangemouth in July 1971? My records are not too good around then. A classic view to a BP Tanker man joining his new ship! We were UK coast/Sweden/Denmark for 9 weeks and then suddenly we were across to Montreal and Venezuela.

Don't see many photos of the tanker basin at Grangemouth. She's lying at Jetty 2 (almost unchanged today), with the remains of the old No.1 in the foreground.

".......with the remains of the old No.1 in the foreground."
And the ghost of Pal directing operations. Wonder if he's still alive? Anyone else, apart from Jim, remember Pal?
