Go to Ferries on the Main Page - 1st page - and you find her with a puff of smoke.

During a visit to NZ in 2002 had a chance to visit Queenstown and to do a couple of trips on her, great to be able to stand above the engine room grates and see the operation going in full swing. I was told that the two boilers are in fact railway (train) boilers. A great engine room to see how it happens in a small steamship, loved the reversing gear.

I love this steamer! As a much younger child I went on her back in 1994 and still remember standing on the prow watching her slice into the waves and batter floating logs into submission. At the time they had a special offer: anyone older than the Earnslaw (1912) could get on for free! I wonder if this is still on?
