Well done Stuart, nice to see a different pic of the dear old girl. Yes Jim, a great ship - and throughout her life a Happy One ! Many memories whenever I see a pic of her !!

Many happy memories, joined in Tilbury, relieving "Rubber Legs Humphries" as Chief Electrician. I did 2 6 month voyages to India via the Cape to the Red Sea, Seychelles, Columbo Calcutta Chittagong etc. Chief Engineer John Hoy 2E Newrick, Chief Steward Peter Smith, Mate Colin Heard (Pompous Ass) 2M Martin Cadman 3M Barry Miller, 4E Bunty Hawkins Second Electrician Dereck (Yemeni) Yates Radio Operator Phil (the ships failure) Chesters Skipper George Sinclair (Crikey), the only one I ever sailed with that drank in the bar all the time. If I think of any more names I will add them.

Mike, I think Michael James, whom I have not seen on here for a while, has a photo of us when were were on the dear old Matra in Seychelles in 1964 I think and we had taken the lifeboat for a run ashore. If he does not respond I will see if I can find find it. I was 2R/O at the time.
