Wonder who she was on charter to because they weren't regulars in the Royals. Millwall was the usual berth for the outward New Guinea liner service.

Although as stated Bank Line had a regular service using West India/Millwall docks they did occasionally visit the Royals. Just under the bow, behind the shed is the top of "The Central" pub opposite 15 shed. This was normally used around the time of the picture by Ellerman`s City Line, Clan, B.I and Harrison on East and South African service. Looks like the bow of a B.I. vessel astern of OAKBANK.
