Common Bros Lowland Tanker Co tanker Border Sentinel is lying at Jarrow in 1969. Built 1955 by Swans at their Neptune Yard she was 11,335 gr tons. Fine looking vessels it was a shame to see them and their attractive colours fade from the scene.

Too true Terry. I think they were brave groundbreaking colours at the time, but they worked. Now you see all sorts.
