Hasn't she got a sister called Raven?

Raven is not a sister. She operates on Ullswater in the Lake District.

120 ft long built in 1889

RAVEN, was built in sections in Glasgow and transported by rail to Ullswater on the London Midland & Scottish Railway. Registered in Barrow, she was launched in May 1889 and was in steam until 1935 when she was fitted with National Gas diesels. She was re-engined in 1965/66 with Thornycrofts.

Hi jrx,

Thanks for the information. I looked on that site and I found the the SS Gondola was built in 1858 by Jones and Quiggin in Liverpool. That makes her almost 150 years old

Cheers Frank
