This is the menu we had for our Canberra Reunion Lunch menu.

As you can see, P&O excelled themselves.

Many people were not sure what to expect, but I knew we had a great menu as this proves.

Well done to P&O for making the first every Canberra Reunion such a success.

I may be biassed, but they are truly the best?!.

Sadly, there's only the Seafood Grill and the Vanilla ice cream that I would go for. Good thing I wasn't eligable then, hey?

Hey Coastie, I'm sure they could find a breville if you asked!

John, Coastie may not know what a "Breville" is. For those not in the know it's an electric sandwich toaster - you put the sandwich in and close the lid. Sort of like making hamburgers in your armpit in the olden days.

John T. I know EXACTLY what a Breville is. I bought one years ago and my Mother discovered that it could be used for heating other things as well without having to get up from her chair!! Have you ever had Brevilled soup?? Pizza was ok, it came out ready cut! (And I am NOT joking!)

Coastie,

You're a heathen not being able to do justice to a menu like that!

I know you are fibbing 'cos I've just sat and watched you polish off a ruddy great curry - mind you we have our "figures" to maintain!

Yes, Gulpers, but curry is not mentioned on that menu! (I don't recognise anything mentioned on there and tend to shy away from things I don't recognise.)

What I have not said is that we got all of that plus wine for 12.95, and they kept topping our glass up.

And Coastie, this was a P&O ship with with Indian crew on board who could rustle you up a curry not on the menu which would be so hot it would make a certain part of your anatomy red raw for weeks

David,

His nose is already red and raw - and it's not from eating curry!

Is that the part of his anatomy you were thinking of?

ps. Can you sign me on as a Supernumerary for your next reunion?

12.95 for that lot takes some beating!

Wrong end Ray.

Would need one of those cushions with a hole in the middle for a day or two. The curry the Asian crew served up on my ships in their own Mess certainly made that area sting a bit for a while.

As I recall the crew curry's in most P&O ships left you with your a**e feeling like the opening credits of Bonanza the morning after!!
