1943 book from my late fathers collection in England. The knowledge to be gained would have been invaluable back in the 40's. Makes interesting reading too...Only trouble, any idea which category this should be filed in ????

I don't suppose many of the practices in that publication are in use today Jim.

I found it in local book store on sale at US$5.00 and passed it on to a Recent Volunteer deck Crew Member who found it most useful, especially after I inserted color (colour) copies of current International Flag Code signals as used in Merchant Marine ... the Naval flag code meanings were just too confusing ... I would really like to have my Brown Son and Fergusen 1950's copy of The Bosun's Manual back ... now that was an extremely useful hand book !! Snowy
