We seem to be moving in the same circles, Ray. My husband's sister & her husband were out visiting from Oxford & we did a road trip with them along the Great Ocean Road. When I spotted the ship at Portland, I just had to get a photo. They couldn't follow my excitement.

Well you won't want to see my snap of Portland taken a couple of months ago!

She's been on the run from Kwinana/Bunbury to Portland for about 22 years now, bringing a cargo of alumina to Portland every couple of weeks. Not sure who owns her now - think she was originally owned or chartered by Alcoa, the aluminium crowd, but she was definitely managed by Howard Smiths. Wonder who runs her now? She is still Australian flag but that means nowt as far as I can see.
