Mac Andrews! A shipping line I always wanted to sail with but never made it. Would you happen to know the name of the lad in the centre facing the camera? He looks familiar.
Thanks,
Tony

rainbow: The young Glaswegian in question sailed as Fifth Engineer in the Pozarica. Sadly, I can no longer recall his name. The short sea trade out of London or Liverpool was pleasant enough, especilly if you lived near one of those ports. I didn't, so guess who did the "nights on board."

merrymac: From 1963 to 1967 I sailed in the Pozarica, Palomares and the Pelayo with a couple of GSNC ships between times. I was in the first MacAndrews vessel to call at Sheerness once it became a proper commercial port. The Pelayo, I think.
Happy days.
