Could be any of the O class boats. Onyx was the only one of the class in the Falklands during the conflict.

Def an O boat but doubt its Onyx

I'll bet the guys in the torpedo room really appreciated that!
I thought it was only the Americans that could hit a rock with a submarine.
Although if I remember correctly Otto Kretschmer torpedoed a rock during WW2. Sent a message back to Germany announcing that he had torpedoed a rock (Felson in German), which led the Propoganda Ministry to announce that the Nelson had been sunk!

Sorry, Nick; ít´s hard to believe that O. Kretschmer sent such a message, not to mention the misspelling. I´ll bet for an urban (navy) legend.
