This is one of the Victory ships, provided to Netherlands as part of the Marshall Project just after WWII, Nearly all large dutch shipping companies were allowed to get those ships in order to restore the great loss of the big War. So also our Holland-America-line. Attractive steam turbine driven ships with the yellow painted line on the hull.

the next photo will waite for a time, first i make a painting with flowers, after that I saw photo,s this week from the Patria and that is in my head now.
