I was a pax in 1953 from Dar Es Salam to Venice. Can't really remember much as I was only 4 at the time. But my Mother still talks about her today.
I think it was one of the many cruises she really loved.

I took this ship from Mogadishu to Italy two times. Africa's breaking up at Kaohsiung in 1980.
The similar Victoria, renamed Anastasis, was registered as Mercy Ship, in 1990.

Better try see Anasastia while you can because she has very few days left.
