Brilliant painting, love the scene you have created or is it a real place, Reg

Real place, long time ago, used to have a large fleet of Fishing boats, now only a few inshore and lobster boats. Now more a holiday destination with an expanding Marina

Don't mind at all, if that's the only 'Gaff' (pun!) I'll be fair chuffed, I wasn't even sure if it was there at the time depicted.

Luv all the masts away in the distant inside harbour, just seems to go on & on, a few years ahead of this the harbour would be full of steam drifters, luvely painting, well done !

Beautiful painting, Jim. Ah ken it weel - Ah sailed on the 'Reaper' frae Ainster an' back! This is a very fine portrayal of that little harbour, and your depiction of the Fifies waiting for the wind is splendid. The wee Baldie is a delight. For some reason, I keep thinking I should go for fish and chips...! Donald

A fine picture Jim, really nice. All the action taking place in the early hours, which is such a nice time of day. You can imagine visitors rising a couple of hours later, and complaining that "nothing ever happens here"
