The second of the series of Clyde built Kuwaiti ships launched on May 23 1974 from Govan Shipbuilders' yard. Apart from a temporary renaming for charter purposes she stayed with the Kuwait Shipping Co/ UASCo until scrapped at Chittagong in January 2001.
