Wheras I do eat Lamb and its life. But there is something distasteful about these vessels. Same thoughts on whalecatchers and factory ships.

Common Brothers managed one these vessels which in March 1980 suffered an engineroom fire after leaving Fremantle fully loaded. Ship was abandoned and sunk. Lots of lost roast lamb dinners.

I was a cadet on these ships in the 80's. They are not as bad as they are made out to be. Particularly these vessels - Al Shuwaikh, Al Quwait, Al Qurain, where the sheep were carried above decks, were actually quite comfortable for the sheep, which were carried strictly to Australian legal standards.
