Chris,
I did not know his first name.
He had the ship during the time I was in Empire Baltic on Tilbury - Hamburg service and bunkered us every week in 1950/51.
Tommy Handley AB of Gravesend was also in her at that time.

Stan,

Thank's. It rang a few bell's when you mentioned his name, of course there were quite a few Capt Brown's in Everard's at one time or another.Duncan retired off the Alfred Everard at Greenhithe mid 1975 according to my disc' book.He did of course serve in the bunker boats on the Thames so the link is possible,I believe he died some years ago.

Regard's
Chris B.

Leslie Cusiter :- I served as EDH on the Allurity In 1955. We were bunkering Ships on the Thames at this time. Spent 5 Months on her, it was a great experience. If I remember correctly Captain Brown was a Freeman of the river Thames.

Hi Leslie and Chris,
I have just caught up with this and it was 1954 to 1956 when Allurity
was bunkering Empire Baltic in Tilbury Docks with Captain Brown her Master.
The bunkering vessels in the docks of 1949 -1953 were Dalmuir and Allegheny.
Rgards,
Stan
